Staying at Al Sahel Villa Resort was a breathtaking experience that truly felt like a unique getaway. The vibe was incredibly peaceful and transported us to a slice of Africa. The rooms were stunning, spacious, and offered beautiful views. The dining was delightful with fantastic food, especially during breakfast. The only downside was the long drive to the ferry station, but once you arrive, the ambiance and activities make it all worth it.
Our stay at the resort was deeply enriching, showcasing incredible wildlife just outside our villa, which was both comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff made our experience memorable, especially with the thoughtful anniversary surprises. The activities available were plentiful, but the dining could use a bit more variety. Overall, it was a great getaway that felt like a slice of paradise, but be prepared for a bit of travel to get there.
My experience at Anantara Al Sahel was mixed. While the natural beauty and wildlife around the hotel were breathtaking, my overall stay was overshadowed by poor service and disappointing facilities. The rooms had great potential but were not up to the standards expected from a luxury brand. The location is fantastic for wildlife spotting, and dining was enjoyable, yet the experience was marred by logistical issues.
Our stay wasn't what we expected from a luxury resort, as we faced several issues that spoiled our experience. The villa was quite spacious but had cleanliness concerns, and the service during check-in and check-out left much to be desired. The island's wildlife was a highlight, and the breakfast was pretty good, but overall, we felt that the customer service fell short for the price we paid.
Our stay at this resort was truly extraordinary, with an incredible blend of nature and luxury. The villas offered us an intimate experience among stunning wildlife, and the dining was consistently delightful. However, some aspects of the service could use improvement, particularly during busy hours. All in all, it was a wonderful getaway that we would cherish returning to.
